Our school library is accessible to all students and staff, with welcoming spaces led by a certified school librarian who provides relevant instruction, leadership, and resources to develop students' skills in critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.

Library Support

Our library values access, inquiry, literacy, collaboration, privacy, and equity. We support staff and students by connecting them with high-quality resources and instruction to enhance their learning.

We provide the following services to support learning: 

  • Instruction - Students learn how to responsibly use and evaluate resources, information, and technology tools. 
  • Access to resources - Students check out library books or access digital resources that meet their academic needs or help them explore their interests. 
  • Reader’s Advisory - Get suggestions for which book to read next, or which resources to use for a project.

Mission Statement

The Sanford Creek Library is a place where students will cultivate a lifelong love of reading and learning. It is a place to ignite their imaginations, fuel their curiosity, and encourage collaboration through a diverse collection of books, resources, and interactive experiences. By fostering exploration and creativity, it is our goal to empower each student to reach their full potential, both academically and personally.
